He has extensive knowledge and experience in organizational management and administration. Previously, he has worked at the Ministry of Agriculture and for NGOs namely; Self Help Africa, Solidaridad Network and Rainforest Alliance. She is driven by her curiosity about how European regulations contribute to the circular economy and sustainable development. Nathália has been actively involved in consulting for companies operating within various regulatory frameworks across different countries. Currently serving as the Head of Secretariat of the World Packaging Organisation, Nathália navigates diverse international backgrounds daily. Originally from Brazil and now based in Vienna, she offers a unique perspective shaped by firsthand experiences in both developing and developed countries. Nathália's profound understanding of these differences enriches her approach to addressing global challenges in packaging regulations.
Michael Reisner is an experienced Sales Manager and has several years of experience in general management functions. He has a technical and economical degree at the Technical University in Vienna/ Austria as well as a master’s degree in operations & logistics at the University of Colorado at Boulder in Boulder/Colorado in the US.
He has worked for almost 12 years in international sales with a focus on CEE, the CIS/ Stan countries as well as Russia, and later also in Africa and North America in various sales and sales-related leadership positions in the refractory business for a big international corporation. Furthermore, for the last 7 years, Michael has held several general management positions including production, machinery business, and sales for big projects in mid-sized companies.
Michael is married with 3 kids (13,11 and 5 years old) and likes to do sports, especially running, yoga, and skiing as well as listening to good music and to go the theatre.
Marta’s expertise: Technical sales, food product innovation, food processing and packaging. More than 15 years’ experience in emerging markets of East Africa. She has an M.Sc. Degree in Food Technology and Engineering from the University of Varmia and Mazury Olsztyn, Poland.
Last 15 years she has worked in international sales with world-known organization: Bosch-Syntegon, DSM-Firmenich, Du Pont-Danisco, Zentis. Marta was in charge of East Africa operations including building partnerships with small medium and large local food processors from beverage, dairy, confectionary and biscuits, savoury and snack industries. Her tasks included marketing and technical assistance with food product research and development. Marta has held several leadership positions in the machinery business.
Marta is married with two 2 daughters. She is especially passionate about African art and jewellery and likes travelling and different sports activities.

Alfred is a multi-award winning advisor of African governments offering solutions to the most complex development challenges they face, and has experience in over 14 African countries. Through senior assignments at the World Bank, International Finance Corporation, UNDP, East Africa Trade & Investment Hub and International Trade Centre, Alfred has designed and implemented ground-breaking economic development, trade and investment projects. These include advising the Government of Mozambique during ascension to the SADC Free Trade Area, advising the Nigerian Presidency on developing the African Peer Review Mechanism, and leading the development of the EAC Common Market Scorecard, an advisory project requested by the EAC Secretary General. Andrew lives in the Netherlands where he is the communications director of AIPiA, The Active and Intelligent Packaging Industry Association based in Utrecht Holland which he also helped found in 2001. He is responsible for the AIPIA online newsletters and writes many articles for other journals as well as giving lectures and presentations on smart packaging around the world.
He also works with the European Aluminum Foil Association (EAFA) on its communication as well as flexible packaging Europe FPE and CEFLEX on sustainability issues for the plastic industry. In addition, he writes for several packaging companies on their technology developments.
