Montgomery Events East Africa, the organisers behind Propak East Africa 2020, released the following statement in March in response to rising concern over travel amidst the COVID-19 outbreak.
Following an announcement today (06.03.2020) from the Kenyan Ministry of Health, all international conferences and meetings have been banned in Kenya with immediate effect. Unfortunately, this includes Propak East Africa and therefore we have no choice but to follow the directive of the Government and cancel the exhibition.
Please see below a link to the official announcement from the Kenyan Ministry of Health, hosted on their website.

Obviously, this is a huge disappointment, as we were fully intending to run the event, but we are faced with a situation where we have no choice. This situation was not anticipated due to no cases of Coronavirus in Kenya and this is a ban that we couldn’t see coming.
Regarding any participation at the event, if you have any questions please get in touch with the relevant team member below.
Kind Regards
